Career Development

• Job Posting – an internal posting system that provides first indication of a job vacancy and the skills and criteria needed to post. The primary objective is to find the “best qualified” candidate for the position. By pursuing your skill development in these other programs should establish a foundation for your growth opportunities at PCI.
  
  
  
  
  
• Educational Assistance – PCI will pay up to 100% of tuition for related courses and mandatory fees to ensure employees have avenues to seek their career aspirations. This program requires satisfactory completion of the course work.
  
  
  
  
  
• Leadership Development – Because PCI's leaders are critical to the company’s success, the company provides them a training program. This training program includes on-site guest speakers; a 6-month program at Cunningham Leadership Center at Columbus State University; various interactive events with Fort Benning; and, several “best-practices” visits to other companies.
  
  
  
  
  
• Career Counseling – Assisting employees in the exploration of their interests, skills, goals, work values and career aspirations is a major focus of Career Development. Furnishing employees with the knowledge they need to make informed career decisions and encouraging them to become actively involved in their own career planning is an important role that Career Development provides.
  
  
  
  
• Job Specific Training – PCI provides specific training on Operations jobs through Coastal (an interactive, computer-based training program developed in-house).
  
  
  
  
• Lunch & Learns / Workshops – throughout the year, PCI provides several venues for learning about subjects important to both employees’ professional & personal lives.
